SatRadar.app

About

SatRadar.app is a live satellite tracking experience built to make satellites easier to explore, search, and understand on an interactive world map.

The site focuses on live positions, useful filtering, quick search by NORAD ID or mission, and a lightweight interface that makes orbit exploration feel approachable.

SatRadar.app uses satellite catalog data together with orbital elements to estimate live positions on the map. That makes it possible to search for real satellites by name, NORAD ID, launch year, country, mission type, object type, and more.

The map is designed to make space data easier to understand at a glance. Filters help narrow down large catalogs, the search is built to match many different types of metadata, and the selected satellite panel gives a quick summary of speed, altitude, orbit details, and basic mission context without turning the site into a heavy technical dashboard.

We also use external services for things like map tiles, fonts, and optional analytics. Those are included to make the experience faster, clearer, and easier to improve over time.

Satellite data can change as source catalogs are updated, new launches are added, objects decay, or orbital elements are refreshed, so some values may shift over time.
